Bel Air, Md. – Harford softball played its first home game of the 2019 season, falling to the Erie Kats, 4-1, during Sunday's doubleheader at the Harford Sports Complex.

Harford starter Jessica Miller (7 IP, 3 ER) dealt eight strikeouts and forced Erie to strand 21 runners on base. Unfortunately, she received little run support from the Fighting Owls, who plated just one run via wild pitch in the sixth.

The Fighting Owls fall to 0-18 after the loss. Erie jumps to 1-0.

Games Notes

• Olivia Gallimore finished 2-for-3 with a triple.
• Jenna House also collected two hits and forced a walk in her third plate appearance.
• Jessica Miller and Lexi Buchanan tallied Harford's other two hits.
