No. 1 Harford Extinguishes Dragons, 23-3

Bel Air, Md. – Harford returned to the field for the first after being ranked No. 1 by the NJCAA, downing Maryland Juco Conference foe Howard, 23-3, Monday afternoon inside Harford stadium.

The Fighting Owls opened up the game with a 5-0 run, highlighted by two goals from Sarah Dudick and Sydney Mckemy. A pair of Howard goals bookended another 5-0 scoring stretch from Harfor midway through the first, with Mckemy tacking on one more before the half to move the Fighting Owls' advantage to 11-2 entering the break.

Harford scored two quick goals to start the half, growing their lead to 13-2 while forcing the running clock to begin. After allowing the Dragons the final goal of the game less a couple minutes later, Harford's defense shut out Howard the rest of the way, while the Fighting Owls netted 10 additional goals before the final whistle sounded.
