Harford Downs Essex to Complete Undefeated Regular Season

Baltimore, Md. – Fighting Owls freshman Sarah Dudick scored a career high nine goals, leading No. 1 Harford to a 21-10 win over the No. 4 Essex Knights, completing the first undefeated regular season in the modern era (2008-present) of Harford athletics.

Dudick put Harford ahead of Essex early on by scoring two unassisted goals to start the first half. The two teams then traded goals for the reminder of the first half, with Harford holding onto a 6-4 lead at the break. The final 30 minutes looked much different, as Dudick led a 15-goal second half charge from the ladies in blue to seize the win.

Harford finishes its regular season with an 11-0 record and a 6-0 mark in conference play. Essex tumbles to 6-4 (2-4 Md. Juco)
