Game Recap: Men's Soccer | | Adam Fornwalt

Fighting Owls Blank Cecil

NORTH EAST, Md. – The Harford men's soccer team earned its first shutout of the season, while also recording 33 shots in a 4-0 triumph over the Cecil Seahawks, Tuesday afternoon at Calvert Regional Park.

The match played out much like Saturday's 4-1 win over Potomac State, as a goal from midfielder Justin Draper put the Fighting Owls ahead 1-0 early. Harford dictated the pace of play and possession, but Cecil goalkeeper Noah Walker made seven first half saves to keep the Seahawks in the contest.

Despite another eight saves from Walker in the second half, Harford eventually wore down the Seahawks over the final 20 minutes. Auston Pellegrino scored his second goal of the season to kick off the run, while Zach Hebb and Raymond Kemausuor tallied their first of the year.

Harford moves to 2-1 (1-1 Md Juco) after the win, while Cecil falls to 0-1 (0-1 Md Juco) after their opening contest.
