COLUMBIA, Md. – The Fighting Owls were saddled with their second conference loss of the year on Tuesday, falling to the Howard Dragons, 57-53.
Harford were forced to play three quarters with just five players, then the final five minutes with four due to foul trouble.
Tsahai Corbie led the undermanned Fighting Owls with 16 points.
The loss drops the ladies in blue to 13-3 (1-2 MD JUCO). Howard improves to 11-7 (4-2).
Turning Point
Harford's struggles from the free throw line (4-of-12) did them in during an otherwise even affair. The Dragons were razor sharp however, knocking down 13 of their 17 attempts.
