BEL AIR, Md. – The Fighting Owls picked up their 20
th win of the season while handing Chesapeake their fifth loss, in an 84-68 battle Saturday evening inside the APGFCU Arena.
Kelvajha Foster put forth a valiant effort, stuffing the stat sheet with 18 points, six boards, five assists, three swipes.
Harford moves to 20-4 (7-3 MD JUCO) on the season and second place in Maryland JUCO.
Turning Point
Harford iced the contest by going on 17-4 run in the fourth. This run could not have come at a more opportune time, being that the game was in the balance as Harford was hanging on to a lead 64-62 with 5:21 left in the closing quarter.
Aniya Vaughns and
Kelvajha Foster made this stretch possible, both scoring seven points in the clutch.
