Harford Blanked by Frederick in Season Opener

FREDERICK, Md. – Harford opened up its 2020 campaign on Wednesday, falling 12-0 in six innings to the Frederick Cougars.

The Fighting Owls could not put much together at the plate, striking out 16 times in the loss. An eight-run sixth eventually pushed the Cougars over the top after they previously lead 4-0 through the opening innings.

Harford falls to 0-1 on the year, while Frederick now stands at 6-5.
