BEL AIR, Md. - Harford women's soccer newcomer
Cami Perusek scored her first goal of the season, but the Montgomery Raptors managed to down the Fighting Owls 3-1, Thursday night inside Harford Stadium.
Both teams were active on offense, taking 25 shots apiece while placing a combined 32 on target. It was the Raptors who made the most of their opportunites, sandwiching two goals in the first and a third score in the second to come away with the win.
The loss drops Harford to the No. 2 seed in the Region 20 DI Tournament, where they will take on No. 3 Hagerstown for the right to play Montgomery once again. The tournament, which will take place on October 27 and 30, will take place at Harford.
The Fighting Owls are now 5-5-1 (2-3 MD JUCO) after the defeat.
