BEL AIR, Md. - Harford got out to a fast start Wednesday evening, leading to a 55-49 victory over the Central Penn Lady Knights inside the APGFCU Arena.
The Fighting Owls were led by a pair of forwards on both sides of the floor.
Patricia Sherrill finished with 12 points and a season high 21 rebounds, whileÂ
Jada Bright ended with 12 points, 10 boards, and six blocks.Â
Harford is now 4-5 on the year.
Turning Point
The Fighting Owls electrified the home crowd early, jumping out to a 19-7 lead by the end of the first quarter.
Kaitlyn Thacker fueled the offensive effort with eight points, while Sherrill and Bright pumped in four each. Harford's defense shut down the Central Penn attack as well, allowing just two of the Lady Knights' 16 shots to fall in the opening 10 minutes.
