CATONSVILLE, Md. – Harford softball returned to action on Tuesday, suffering an 18-1 loss to the Catonsville Cardinals.
The Fighting Owls tallied just two hits in the contes:
Kaylee Siler's double in the second and
Rilee Fazenbaker's single in the fourth. Fazenbaker's hit helped advanced
Paige Clark, who eventually scored what was Harford's only run of the day after an RBI-groundout via
Alyssa McLaughlin.
Unfortunately for Harford, its one run came after 13 runs in the first three innings by Catonsville. The Cardinals also went on to score five more in the bottom of the fourth to walk away with the win.
Harford moves to 0-3 (0-3) MD JUCO with the loss, while Catonsville improves to 2-2 (2-0).
