BEL AIR, Md. – For the first time in two years, the Harford Softball team competed inside the Harford Sports Complex on Wednesday.
Their return home did not go as planned, as they fell 10-2 at the hands of the Southern Maryland (CSM) Hawks.
Down 9-0 in the bottom of the third, sophomore
Lexi Buchanan finally put Harford on the board after she scored via wild pitch. The Fighting Owls picked up their second run later in the inning thanks to an RBI-single via
Jordan Haslacker.
Harford bumps down to 0-5 with the loss, while CSM starts their season off at 1-0.
