VINELAND, N.J. – Harford softball returned to action for the first in three weeks, dropping a pair of contests to the Rowan College of South Jersey – Cumberland Dukes.
Game One
The Dukes relied on two big innings, a five-run first and an eight-run third, to put the Fighting Owls away early. Harford was able to sandwich two runs around a three-run fourth by RCSJ to get on the scoreboard.
The Fighting Owls tallied eight hits in the contest, highlighted by a 3-for-3 day from
Jordan Haslacker.
Rilee Fazenbaker (0-4) slotted just in behind her with two hits, while also striking out two batters on the mound.
Game Two
RCSJ did all of their damage on offense in the first three innings to take the second game, 12-3.
Sophomore
Lexi Buchanan receive her first collegiate start as a pitcher. Buchanan (0-1), who normally features at shortstop or in center, went all four innings and struck out three.

Amanda Cliffe recorded her first hit as a Fighting Owl. Joining her in the hit column were Buchanan,
Jordan Haslacker,
Rilee Fazenbaker, and
Paige Blaker.
Harford sits at 0-8 after Thursday's defeats.
