BEL AIR, Md. - The
Harford men's soccer team took the field for the first time this Fall on Thursday, besting the Hagerstown Hawks by a 5-3 scoreline on the road.
Phillip Gall and
Dan Tridone did the heavy lifting on offense early for the Fighting Owls, scoring two goals each in the first 48 minutes of the contest. Hagerstown was able to squeeze in a score shortly after Harford made it 3-0 to break the shutout.
Down 4-1, Hagerstown took a run at the lead with goals in the 61st and 65th minute. 12 minutes later and an own goal doomed the Hawks and sent Harford home with its first victory of the year.
