BEL AIR, Md. - Harford played inside the APGFCU for the first time in over a month, defeating the Frederick Cougars via 78-64 scoreline Saturday afternoon.
The Fighting Owl frontcourt led the charge on both ends of the floor, with three double-doubles coming from three Harford bigs.
Kaitlyn Thacker paced Harford with 24 points while pulling down 10 rebounds.
Jada Bright led the team in rebounds (23) and blocks (six) wihle chipping in 12 points. Rounding out the big three was
Patricia Sherrill, who managed to pair 14 boards with 11 points despite some foul trouble.
Harford stands at 5-7 (3-3 MD JUCO) with the victory.
Turning Point
Frederick pulled within four points at the 4:50 mark in the fourth quarter, but a
McKayla Donovan three extended Harford's lead back to seven. From their, the Fighting Owls went on a 9-3 run to close out the contest.
