BEL AIR, Md. - Joe Suarez's three-run homer was all she wrote for Penn State York, as Harford rolled to a 14-2 victory over its USCAA foe.
Penn State took an early 1-0 lead and doubled it in the second, but Harford score five in the bottom second and one more in the third to go ahead 6-2.
Cam Trego's RBI base knock and
Jay Kalieta's long pop out plated a pair in the fourth as well.
The Fighting Owls continued to tack on runs late, including back-to-back RBI hits by
John McNamee and
Bobby Spencer in the sixth.
Jay Kalieta's walk gave way to a pair of outs, leaving Suarez as Harford's last chance at ending things early. The Virginia native would do just that, slicing a ball over the wall to end the contest.
Austin Biddle (3-0) shined in the win, striking out five batters while allowing just two hits through six innings.
Harford leaps to 24-4 on the year after the win.
