BEL AIR, Md - The Fighting Owls took care of business via mercy rule in game two, as Harford dropped Garrett 13-3 in five innings on Friday evening.
An eight-run second headlined Harford's offensive effort. A quartet of bases loaded walks started the second before
Quinn Madden's RBI single plated two. A wild pitch and sacrifice fly brought home the final two runs of the inning.
Up 10-2 in the fourth,
Joe Quelch sent a ball over the fence for a 12-2 lead. Garrett fought off an early defeat by scoring one in the fifth, but Quelch came back up in the bottom of the frame and walked with the bases loaded to put away the Lakers for good.
Harford sits at 41-6 (22-4 MD JUCO) after today's sweep.
