BEL AIR, Md. - The Fighting Owls pitching staff allowed just two hits over seven innings in the Fighting Owls 4-0 victory over the Scotland Prep Knights on a rainy Tuesday afternoon.
Marcos Del Valle (1-0) scored the victory, striking out two while allowing just one run in his Harford debut.
Joe Grassi tossed the next three, punching out seven batters while surrending a single hit.
John Silder (1 IP, 2 K's) and
Nate Robison (1 IP) closed out the game for Harford with three clean innings to end the game.
Jeremiah Guzman and
Andrew Sicinski did most of the work on offensive for Harford. Guzman doubled and homered to drive home three runs, while Sicinski plated
Joe Quelch for the fourth run of the day in the bottom third.Â
Harford improves to 27-4 after the victory.
