BEL AIR, MD - The Harford Men's Soccer season has come to an end at the Region 20 Championship. The Fighting Owls were defeated by the #2 ranked Montgomery Raptors by a score of 2-1. 

The first goal of the contest came at the 38th minute when Ahmadou Koita of Montgomery broke away into the Harford defensive third. He was able to beat a defender before firing the ball into the lower corner of the goal to put the Raptors up 1-0. Harford was able to equalize in the 49th minute on a goal from Jude Hill and a service from Xavier Roy. Nearly 25 minutes would pass with chances for both sides coming frequently, until Montgomery would find their game winner on a free kick from Yoshuke Ono. Nathan Booth would tally the final blow of the contest and send Montgomery home Region 20 Champions.

Overall Harford outshot Montgomery 17-16 with an 11-8 advantage on shots on goal. Harford earned 5 corners to Montgomery's 2, and Fighting Owls keeper Luis Marquez would produce 6 crucial saves throughout the contest. 29 fouls were called throughout the game, including 9 yellow cards.
