BEL AIR, MD - Harford Community College hosted the Northern Virginia Nighthawks in their basketball doubleheader home opener. The women's team battled to a win in the opening contest of the night after finding themselves down 59-60 with :27 left in the fourth quarter. Throughout the game there would be seven lead changes. Rakayla Ramcharran would solidify the victory, and send the Fighting Owls into the locker room with their third win of the season.
Turner would finish the contest with 20 points, 3 steals, and 3 assists. Ramcharran would contribute 11 points and 14 rebounds to the victory. The Fighting Owls would capitalize on 16 points off turnovers, and 9 second chance points.
