LARGO, MD - The Fighting Owls traveled to Prince George's for a MDJUCO double header on Wednesday. The PG Owls were riding a 2-game win streak prior to the matchup, and came away with their third win of the year to go 3-1 while the Fighting Owls fell to 3-5 on the season.
Prince George's jumped out to a quick lead in the first period, outscoring Harford 23-11. Each period following was the same deficit for the Fighting Owls, trailing 12 points and unable to catch the offensive momentum needed to gain control of the contest. Turnovers again plagued Harford, and contributed to 39 points for Prince George's.
Molly Mullaney would lead the Fighting Owls with 15 points and 5 rebounds.
Lynnea Pugh would work for 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals.
