BEL AIR, Md. – The Harford women's basketball team earned a 70-65 victory over the CCBC Cardinals on Tuesday night. The game was the first of a conference double-header that day, and the program's Breast Cancer Awareness game.

Sophomore point guard
Quren Santiago lead the way with 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists. She managed 50% from the floor, her second-best effort on the year behind a .625 shooting performance at Anne Arundel, and went 5-6 from the free throw line. Santiago's 21 points ties her season high against Middlesex. She has now accumulated 13 games on the year with double-digit scoring.

Another standout performance came from freshman guard
Molly Mullaney who contributed 17 points and 9 rebounds to the win, just missing the opportunity for her fourth double-double on the season.

The 2
nd quarter was a standout performance by the Fighting Owls. The team shot 47% from the floor and 55% from three-point range, outscoring the Cardinals 24-16.
Julia Skinner and
Deaisjah Somerville also tallied two blocks each in the period. Skinner would end the contest with 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals, while "Shoom" Somerville would total 10 points and 7 rebounds on the night. The Fighting Owls did not allow a single three-pointer by the Cardinals in the entire contest.
