BEL AIR, MD. – Harford Baseball earned its third consecutive sweep after beating Delaware Tech at home on Saturday.
Â
Brody Levin would go 2 for 3 in game one with three runs and an RBI.
Joey Pagano would also contribute to the offense with a run scored and two RBI's. Most of the game included a comfortable lead for Harford, until a grand slam by Del Tech in the top of the sixth tied the score at five a piece. It would be a wild pitch to score
Rueben Livingston in the bottom of the sixth that would decide the day's first winners.
Â
Quinn Holt got the start on the day going five innings and facing 25. He would allow just five hits and one run with six strikeouts.
Â
Game two was a much different win for the Fighting Owls as the bats came alive and ten different players contributed to the scoreline. The first ball to leave the park would be off the bat of
Trey Cruz in the third inning. He would end the day going 1 for 4 with three RBI's.
Quinn Madden also had a standout performance going 1 for 2 and driving in 3 RBI's. Two would come from a towering homerun in the bottom of the third to follow Cruz and extend the Harford lead by seven.
Â
Austin Biddle went three innings in game two allowing three runs on three hits, and seven strikeouts.
Â
The Fighting Owls stand at 8-5 (2-0 in MDJUCO) on the season.
