BEL AIR, MD - The Fighting Owls were handed their second loss of the season after being defeated by the Knights of CCBC Essex. Essex moves to 9-1-0 on the season, while Harford sits at 5-2-2.
While the scoreline might seem slightly one-sided, the stats show a fairly even contest between the two teams after 4 goals in the first 45 minutes and none to follow in the second half. CCBC Essex would outshoot Harford by just 2 throughout the contest, hitting 9 of 16 on frame, while the Fighting Owls managed 7 of 14. Both keepers would end the day with 6 saves apeice, and the Knights would accumulate 5 corners to Harford's 4. All four yellow cards in the contest would fall to Harford, however as the Fighting Owls would accumulate 15 of the 26 fouls on the day.
