Senior year  made second team All-Metro, was chosen to play in the Brooks Robinson Senior All-Star game... Appeared in 11 games started in 9 of them, pitched 53 innings... Only allowed 11 runs, 9 of which were earned... Accumulated a 1.19 ERA, had 57 strikeouts and 17 walks...Had a record of 9-0.... Junior year made All-Metro Honorable Mention... Was named Gazette Player of the Year.... Was second in High School All-Time Leaders in wins(18), strikeouts (192), and was first in IP(162.1). Appeared in 10 games, and started in 7 of them, pitched 42.2 innings... Only allowed 16 runs, 12 of which were earned... Accumulated a 1.97 ERA, had 63 strikeouts and 15 walks...Had a record of 5-1. Overall, was apart of two regional championships.
