Pitched in relief for Stony Brook his freshman season... He accumulated a 2.1 IP and had two strikeouts against LIU Brooklyn... He struckout 7 batters in 7.2 innings pitched for the season.

WEST BABYLON SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
For baseball he was named to the All-League team three times, All-County two times, All-Long Island one time, and All-State once... He was named as the Suffolk county Gold Glove winner at SS...For basketball he was named Rookie of the Year... He made the All-League team twice and All-Conference once.
