Harford Community College Athletics

Dave Correll returns for his eighth season at Harford as the head golf coach. In 2011, Correll guided the Fighting Owls to their first MD JUCO Golf Championship in school history. He has built a steady and balanced team year after year, which was culminated with the conference crown in 2011.

In 2012, Harford finished second at the conference tournament, losing by just one stroke. Correll guided the 2012 MD JUCO Individual Champion, Andrew Reeves.

Correll won the 1989 Maryland Amateur Stroke Play Championship and turned professional in 1990. He enjoys playing tournament golf and has won tournaments both as amateur and professional. Correll developed a loyal following of students shortly after he turned professional, and has been helping golfers of all ages and skills to improve their game for nearly 20 years.

He currently serves as the club pro at Ruggles Golf Course at Aberdeen Proving Ground, which also serves as the home course for the Fighting Owls.
