Mike Pistorio will be entering into his second season as an assistant coach for both the men's and the District Champion women's soccer programs at Harford in the upcoming 2017 fall season.
Recently, Pistorio obtained the prestigious NSCAA Premiere National Level Soccer Coaching License. Other coaching licenses he has earned include the NSCAA Advanced National Level Soccer Coaching License, NSCAA National Level Soccer Coaching License, NSCAA Junior Level VI-Advanced Regional License and NSCAA Junior Level V Soccer Coaching License.
Aside from currently assisting with the women's and men's soccer programs at Harford, Pistorio runs individual, small group and team training sessions for boys and girls of all skill levels.
Pistorio assisted in coaching the Fallston High School varsity women's soccer program for the 2014 and 2015 seasons. In the those two seasons under Pistorio's assistance, Fallston was the State Runner-Up in the 2014 season and then earned the State Champions title at the end of the 2015 season.
While attending Frostburg State University, Pistorio started as a center-midfielder for three full seasons and then was brought along to compete internationally with the Bobcats in England. At Frostburg he majored in Exercise Science while earning his minor in coaching. Pistorio then made his way to Harford Community College where he graduated with his Associates Degree in 2014.
Pistorio graduated from Harford Technical High School in May of 2007. In his four years he earned varsity letters in Soccer, Basketball, and Track & Field. He was awarded Gatorade Rookie of the Year in 2003, and was selected as a All-County player by the Baltimore Sun paper in 2005. In 2006, Pistorio captained both the Cobra's Regional Champions soccer team and varsity Basketball team. Academically he was a part of the Sports Medicine Program where he exceeded the four year requirements before graduating .
