Emily Soller

Emily Soller enters her second season as the Harford Fighting Owls head softball coach.

Soller previously served as an assistant softball coach at Harford for the past two seasons. Alongside former head coach Kelly Sylvester, Soller helped guide the Fighting Owls to two of the most successful seasons in program history, including their first postseason win since 2015. Nine players were named to the All-Maryland JUCO softball teams during this stretch, including two-time first team selection Emily Bowler.

In addition to their on the field success, this Fighting Owls Softball team earned an NJCAA Team Academic Excellence Award for their 3.02 GPA in 2017.

A three-sport athlete at The John Carroll School, Soller finished with eight varsity letters across volleyball, basketball and softball. Soller added an IAAM basketball and volleyball championship to her stacked softball resume, which included First Team All-County and All-Conference honors.

Soller’s four-year collegiate playing career began with two years at Chestnut Hill College, where she led her team in RBIs and set a single season record for home runs as a sophomore. She would transition to Stevenson University for her final two seasons, where she totaled 66 hits, 37 RBIs and 7 home runs. Soller also made history with the Mustangs, becoming just the second player in Division III history to hit two grand slams and tally eight RBIs in one inning.

Along with a bachelors degree in business communication from Stevenson, Coach Soller is also a member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). 

Soller currently resides in Bel Air.
