Missy McCormick

Missy McCormick graduated from Towson University ('15) and swooped into her first season as Fighting Owls assistant coach.  Prior to joining the Fighting Owls staff, McCormick served as a clinics coach and private lesson instructor for aspiring student-athletes. In addition to her contagious enthusiasm, McCormick shares with the Fighting Owls her expertise in pitching, hitting and outfield.  


McCormick received many accolades during her playing career, including: Nevada's Gatorade Player of the Year (2011); Class 4A Player of the Year; Four-time First Team All-State selection; Second Team All-CAA selection (2014 & 2015) and a Mid Atlantic Second Team All-Region selection (2014). For the Towson Tiger's McCormick pitched the programs first and only perfect game and in the 2015 season was the only Tiger to start all 57 games. She also holds the program's current single season record for RBIs (53) and shutouts (8).
