Harford Community College Athletics

Tony Canami brings over fifteen years of softball coaching experience to the Harford Fighting Owls Softball coaching staff.

In addition to giving private hitting and fielding lessons, Coach Canami has coached for elite organizations such as Maryland Black Ice, Harford Extreme and Forest Hill Travel.  His teams celebrated many successes, including a four year stretch in 2006-2009 where his team placed in the top 5 at the Pony National and USSSA World Series. 

His dedication to preparing players for collegiate-level of play led to 6 players being accepted to DI softball programs; 9 to DII; 28 to DIII within the past ten years.  A success and passion he’ll continue through preparing Harford student-athletes for their next step. 

Coach Canami’s a constant student of the game - he’s attended several ASA coaching clinics, and loves sharing his softball knowledge.  ?
