Ryan Deveaux enters his first season as a Fighting Owls assistant women's basketball coach.

Began coaching in 2009 with Edgewood Parks and Recreation, where he coached multiple age groups (9-10), (11-13), and (14 U)  for the Boy's program under Program Director Perry Woodland.

Recently, he served as the Head Junior Varsity Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach at Joppatowne High School under Head Coach Jermaine Head. During his two-year tenure as Head Junior Varsity coach, Deveaux led team to 35-5 overall record.

Deveaux was a member of the Harford Community College Men's Basketball Program during the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 seasons. Under then Head Coach Melvin Smith, he averaged of 11 points per game over the two seasons well helping his team reach the postseason conference championship game as a sophomore.

Deveaux received his Bachelor's Degree from Bowie State University. He currently resides in Edgewood, Maryland with wife Nakeish and their children, Tyon, Nyeim, Ma'Niya, Lea'Elle, and Rasahn.
