Chris Lynch joined the Harford women's soccer staff as a second assistant in 2022.

A Harford County native, Lynch was a three-sport athlete (soccer, swimming, and lacrosse) at The John Carroll School in Bel Air, Md. He made two MIAA A Conference finals for soccer, two Harford County Swimming Championships and two MIAA B State lacrosse titles during his high school days at John Carroll. After high school, he attended Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College), where he was a dual sport athlete, playing soccer and lacrosse for the Green Terror.

After college graduation, Lynch immediately got into coaching, beginning as an assistant at College of Notre Dame of Maryland, then John Carroll and Catonsville high school girls varsity programs. After Catonsville, Lynch became founder and Club Director for Harford FC United and was there for over a decade.  From HFC, he moved on to work with Coppermine FC, Maryland United FC and the Girls Academy within Baltimore Celtic. In addition to club soccer, Lynch has been a big part of the Maryland Olympic Development Program over the last decade, including International Travel and Play. Not only does he work within the Maryland State program, but also on East Region ODP Support Staff. Adding to his coaching resume, Lynch is also part of Racing Power FC (Portugal BPI Liga 1) as a US Scout and staff on the Racing Power FC USA Women’s Teams.

Lynch demonstrates commitment both during athletic performance and outside of competition.  He loves breaking down film, specifically systems and styles of play. He studies various coaching methodology and is educated, understanding physical and tactical periodization, developing game models, and match analysis trends. He currently has his USSF “A” license. (Also acquired overtime, USSF F, E, D, C and B licenses, plus 4v4, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 Modules) In Addition is one of the few that has CICS and AICS certifications through the National Federation of High Schools.
