BEL AIR, Md.—The Harford women's lacrosse team dropped its last two games to nationally-ranked Nassau and Anne Arundel, falling to the No. 4 Lions (5-0) 21-10 on Sunday and 23-6 to the No. 5 Pioneers (9-4, 3-2 MDJUCO) on Tuesday night.

Freshman goalkeeper Brittany MacKnew (Abingdon, Md./Bel Air) a combined 38 shots with 21 saves against Nassau and 17 versus Anne Arundel, while allowing 45 goals.
Harford held Nassau close to start the first period knotting the score at one goal each before the Lions erupted with a 9-1 run to take a 10-2 lead with nine minutes remaining in the half. Harford would add one last goal in the first with an unassisted tally from freshman Nichole Terry (Havre de Grace, Md./Harford Tech) with 13 seconds left that would serve as the start of a four-goal run by the Fighting Owls.
Warczynski started the scoring off in the second half with an unassisted score just 58 seconds into the second and would add two more thanks to an own goal by Nassau and one by freshman Maria Bush (Joppa, Md./Joppatowne) off Warczynski's feed to cut the deficit to four, 10-6, but the Lions would see four straight goals of their own to bring the lead back to eight, 14-6.
Harford would add four more goals before time expired, but couldn't overcome the offensive output of Nassau, which added seven goals until time expired to earn the 21-10 win.
Warczynski led Harford at Anne Arundel as well, totaling three goals on the day, while Bush, Terry and sophomore Marie Fox (Edgewood, Md./Edgewood) each added one, with Bush and freshman Morgan Kiniry (Street, Md./Harford Tech) also tallying assists.
Harford managed just three goals to the Pioneers' 13 during the first half and were outscored 10-3 in the second as MacKnew totaled 17 saves.
The Fighting Owls return to action on Saturday when they begin a three-game roadstand with a 1:00 p.m. game at Brookdale before traveling to conference foes Howard and CCBC-Catonsville next week.
