GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - The No. 8 Harford women's soccer team (12-1-0) earned its second consecutive shutout in New York, defeating Monroe on Saturday, 8-0.
Audrey Baldwin earned her eighth clean sheet, making two saves in the win.
Becky McManus recorded her first multiple-goal contest, and
Krissy Czarski,
Lyndsie Ludwig and
Andrea Siedlarczyk each tallied a goal and an assist.
Kristina Rivera dished out two assists, and
Christine O'Neill netted her first goal of the year.
Beth Lambros and
Erin Lynn also added goals in the victory. It marked the fourth goal in three games for Lambros, the 2009 All-American.
The Fighting Owls return home on Monday for a showdown against Essex at 6 p.m. The team will be raising awareness for breast cancer while wearing pink throughout the contest.
