Audrey Baldwin made two saves while holding Southern Maryland scoreless on the road.
Freshman
Becky McManus scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in the win. Sophomores
Jenna Quaranta and
Krissy Czarski both added an assist. This hot trio has accounted for 14 points in the last three contests. McManus has scored four goals in the span, while Quaranta has added four assists. Czarski has a goal and three helpers.
Kristina Rivera,
Lyndsie Ludwig,
Amanda Ballard and
Brittany Benser also found the back of the net for Harford. It was Benser's first goal of the season.
The victory concluded the Fighting Owls' regular season, locking up the No. 1 seed in next week's Region XX Tournament hosted by Harford. The Fighting Owls will play the winner of No. 4 Southern Maryland and No. 5 Catonsville on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
