WYE MILLS, Md. - The Harford men's soccer team (5-5-1) broke out of its recent offensive slump in a big way on Wednesday, defeating Chesapeake 5-0 on the road. The Fighting Owls had been kept off the scoreboard in the last four games
Brendon Cole had three assists, while
Ryan Corn added a pair of goals.
Jesse Bane netted the first goal of the game, followed quickly by Corn's first marker. Both tallies were assisted by Cole.
Pat Meagher rifled a shot past the keeper from 30 yards out just before half for a 3-0 lead.
Aaron Krauss was set up by Meagher in the second half, and Cole assisted Corn again to close out the scoring.
George Tsakiris recorded the shut out without making a save.
The Fighting Owls return home for a match against Salem on Friday at 6 p.m.
