Women's Soccer Home String Continues With 9-0 Victory

BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford women's soccer team (3-0-0, 1-0-0) extended its home unbeaten streak to 14 games (13-0-1) with a 9-0 victory over conference foe Cecil on Thursday. The Fighting Owls peppered the Seahawks with 51 shots in the contest.

The Fighting Owls had three players score a pair of goals in the win. Sophomores Jenn Quaranta and Erin Lynn both netted two goals, while freshman Andrea Siedlarczyk tallied two goals for the third time in as many games.

Penelope Fantis, Beth Novak and Amanda Ballard also added markers in the victory. Fantis and Novak both added an assist as well.

Freshman goalie Audrey Baldwin earned her third shutout of the season, making her first save just before the half on a free kick.

The Fighting Owls return to action on Friday, College Colors Day, at Harford Stadium at 5 p.m.
