BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford volleyball team lost to Harcum in straight sets for the second time this season, dropping their overall record to 9-5. The Fighting Owls fell 25-15, 27-25, 25-14.
The Bears showed offensive balance, as four different players totaled at least seven kills. Harcum out hit the Fighting Owls 32 kills to 23 and .234 to .154.
Freshman
Brandi Smith led the offense with eight kills and a .538 attacking percentage. She added seven digs, two assists and a block assist in the loss. Sophomore
Amanda Mackey chipped in with seven kills and a pair of blocks.
Tina Arzola added 16 assists and
Rachel Jirsa recorded 13 digs.
Allison Heisey came off the bench and recorded two service aces and seven digs.
The Fighting owls are back in action at home on Wednesday against Catonsville at 7 p.m.
