BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford volleyball team (10-6, 7-3 MD JUCO) dropped a home match to Southern Maryland (9-12, 8-2 MD JUCO) on Monday, 25-23, 25-11, 25-19.
The Fighting Owls were led offensively by
Amanda Mackey's eight kills.
Lauren Cappellini and
Kori Hawkins each added three wins for Harford.
Tina Arzola had 16 assists in the loss, while
Brandi Smith collected a team-best seven digs. Hawkins added three service aces for the Fighting Owls, a team-high.
Harford returns to the court on Wednesday for its final home match and Sophomore Night, where three student-athletes will be honored. The contest against Anne Arundel begins at 7 p.m. at Harford Tech.
