ABERDEEN, Md. - The Harford men's basketball team (0-2) lost its home opener to Atlantic Cape (1-0) on Friday night, 86-72. The Fighting Owls shot over 50 percent from inside the arc, but just 2-for-25 (8%) from 3-point range.
Freshman forward
Carlos Brown posted career highs with 30 points on 15-of-23 shooting. He also nabbed a 14 rebounds, including 11 off the offensive glass.
After leading the team with 20 points in the season opener,
Dimitrious Jelen-Joy scored 15 points, connected on both of Harford's two 3-point field goals.
The Fighting Owls travel to Delaware County on Tuesday.
