COLUMBIA, Md. - Freshman midfielder
Glenn Grove scored with 20 minutes remaining to break a 2-2 tie and give the Harford men's soccer team a 3-2 victory over Howard on Monday.
With the score knotted at 2-2, the flashy midfielder received a perfect pass from classmate
Gabe Kuhn. Grove took one touch and lofted it over the Dragons' goalkeeper's head for the win.
The Fighting Owls trailed 2-1 at the half, but sophomore
Jacob Duarte netted the equalizer with a breakaway goal. He sped by two defenders and gave Harford a shot.
Chris Panian scored the first goal of the game tipping in Duarte's miss. Howard netted the next two, including a penalty kick.
Justin Brooks totaled seven saves, including a pair of fantastic stops in the upper 90'.
