FREDERICK, Md. - The Harford men's basketball team ran it's season-best win streak to three games with a thrilling 85-82 victory over Frederick on Wednesday night on the road. Harford's full court press and clutch free throw shooting down the stretch was the key to the victory. Freshman
Carlos Brown paced the win with his first career triple-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and a career-high 10 assists.
Freshman guard
Dwayne McGill started the Harford come back with four 3-pointers in the second half. After falling behind by 16 in the second stanza, McGill's final triple cut the lead to three and put the Fighting Owls in position for the win.
Dimitrious Jelen-Joy led the Fighting Owls with 20 points, followed by McGill's 12.
Keegan Harper and
Ka-Ron Richardson each added 11 while
Tyler Campbell chipped in with nine markers. All of McGill's and Campbell's points came after intermission.
