WYE MILLS, Md. - The Harford volleyball team (8-4, 6-4 MD JUCO) snapped a three game slide with a 3-1 win at Chesapeake (3-12, 0-8 MD JUCO) on Thursday. The Fighting Owls won 26-28, 25-13, 25-14, 25-19.

Freshmen Ashley Joyner and Lexie Roberts each had seven kills to led the offense. Joyner had two aces, while Roberts had six aces and nine digs.

Julua Berg had 23 assists and three aces, while Kori Hawkins had five klls and two solo blocks. Brandi Smith chipped in with six kills and four aces.

The Fighting Owls travel to the Tracey Leather Tournament at Hagerstown on Saturday and Sunday. Harford faces Allegany and Frederick on Saturday and Baltimore City and CCBC Catonsville on Sunday.
