BEL AIR, Md. - For the second-straight contest at Harford Stadium, a visiting team entered with a 9-0-0 record. This time, the Harford women's soccer team (5-4-3) was outmatched against No. 9 Monroe (10-0-0) on Monday, 7-0.

The Fighting Owls managed just seven shots in the loss, compared to Monroe's 21. Mikaela Howell had three goals and two assists, while Kaitlyn Merino also scored three times. For the Fighting Owls, Maggie Shifflett made seven saves in the loss.

Last time, 9-0-0 Cape Fear entered Harford Stadium and took a 2-0 lead, but the Fighting Owls fought back to secure a 2-2 tie.

Harford travels to Southern Maryland on Thursday.
