BRYN MAWR, Pa. - The Harford men's basketball team dropped its 2012-13 season opener to Harcum, 123-81. Colby Giacubeno scored a team-high 22 points coming of the bench in his Harford debut.

Giacubeno, who sat out all of last season with a leg injury, connected on four 3-pointers in the loss. Dimitrious Jelen-Joy also nailed four triples, finishing with 14 points, while Jeff Joynes added a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Carlos Brown had his own double-double with 12 points and 11 boards. Tyler Campbell chipped in with 10 points and six rebounds.

The Fighting Owls take on Penn State-York on the road on Nov. 7. They open the home portion of their schedule on Nov. 15 in the new APG Federal Credit Union Arena.
