NORTH EAST, Md. - The Harford volleyball team (4-1, 3-1 MD JUCO) earned a 3-2 victory over rival Cecil (2-7, 0-3 MD JUCO) on the road on Friday. The Fighting Owls won 17-25, 25-15, 25-15, 18-25, 15-12.

Freshman Lexie Roberts recorded a double-double with 20 kills and 13 digs, while classmate Abby Claborn paced the offense with 40 assists.

Maddie Hewitt chipped in with 12 digs and Lauren Cappellini had 10 kills. Ashley Joyner added eight kills and three blocks in the win.

The win completed a three-game Friday sweep for Harford fal sports teams. Both soccer teams won at Frederick earlier in the day.

The Fighting Owls return home to face Valley Forge on Monday at 6 p.m.
