BEL AIR, Md. - Sophomore standout Colby Giacubeno netted a career-high 39 points in a 77-68 conference win over Howard on Wednesday. The victory moved the Fighting Owls into eighth place in the MD JUCO Standings with two games to play.

Giacubeno was nearly flawless in his record-setting night, shooting 11-for-16 from the floor, 4-for-5 from three and 13-for-15 from the line in the win. He tallied 20 of the team's first 22 points.

In the second half, Harford took control of the game and led by as many as 13 late. The Dragons cut the lead to three on two occassions down the stretch, but the Fighting Owls never gave up the lead.

The Fighting Owls host CCBC Dundalk on Friday at 8 p.m. as part of Sophomore Night in APGFCU Arena.
