PEMBERTON, N.J. - The Harford men's basketball team (4-10) led for almost the entire contest in a road non-conference loss at Burlington (6-7) on Saturday. The Fighting Owls shot poor from the line late, allowing the Barons to take the lead in an 82-81 loss.
The Fighting Owls shot a dismal 7-for-17 from the free throw line in defeat, including missing the front end of three consecutive one-and-one opportunities in the game's final minute.
Colby Giacubeno scored 24 points that included seven 3-pointers, while classmate Dimitrious Jelen-Joy made four triples for 22 points.
Carlos Brown chipped in with 15 in the loss.
The Fighting Owls travel to Chesapeake on Monday.
