BALTIMORE - With a five-set road victory, the 2013 Harford volleyball team recorded its 17th win of the season, tying last season's school-record win total. The Fighting Owls took down Baltimore City, 25-17, 25-15, 25-27, 23-25, 15-13.

The victory also improved Harford's undefeated MD JUCO record to 10-0 with two matches remaining. The first-place Fighting Owls are already guaranteed their best conference finish in school history.

Lauren Brown totaled 18 kills and 13 digs in the win while Fabianna Della-Monica also had a double-double with 25 assists and 10 digs.

A season-best six Fighting Owls recorded double figures in digs, including 24 by Ashley Joyner, 19 by Victoria Karayinopolus and a career-high 10 by Kendall Daley.

The Fighting Owls host Sophomore Night on Tuesday against Allegany at 6 p.m.
