HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Playing for the MD JUCO Championship for the first time in school history, the Harford volleyball team (18-8, 11-1 MD JUCO) lost to Hagerstown (21-5, 10-0 MD JUCO), 3-0. The loss still guarantees the Fighting Owls best finish in the conference standings in school history.

The Fighting Owls, playing without the top player in the conference for the eighth-straight game, suffered their first conference loss of the season. Despite missing the last three weeks, Lexie Roberts still ranks in the top three in five major statistical categories, including total kills and hitting percentage.

Ashley Joyner and Lauren Brown both tallied six kills while Fabiana Della-Monica handed out 15 assists. The Fighting Owls lost 25-12, 25-21, 25-16.

Harford hosts Baltimore City for the Region XX Championship on Thursday at 7 p.m. inside the APG Federal Credit Union Arena.
